Emeril Lagasse’s classic Delmonico Steakhouse showcases an elegant renovation at the Venetian in Vegas (Via EaterVegas)
needed a makeover to spruce up the now classic restaurant with a Creole twist. During the month-long renovation, the main dining room, bar and lounge, the Kitchen Table space, and main facade went through a facelift for a more modern look.David Mexico Design Group, which worked with Lagasse’s team on other restaurants, including his flagship Emeril’s New Orleans, created the look of the renovated space, with iZ Design Studio Group in Las Vegas on as the architect of record.
At the entrance, Goodwood NOLA, a New Orleans-based furniture design company, built two custom 10-foot walnut doors to welcome diners into the steakhouse’s grand foyer. The restaurant also now opens to Restaurant Row with striped glass to give diners and pedestrians a glimpse outside and in through somewhat opaque windows.
New custom-designed lighting and fixtures offer spotlights to different areas of the dining rooms, which kept their original cross barrel vaulted ceiling. The renovation also included a revamped back bar and liquor storage in the lounge to showcase the restaurant’s monster book of whiskeys. The chef’s table, lovingly dubbed The Kitchen Table, still overlooks kitchen but now features more space and a new custom Amish walnut dining table that seats up to 16 people.The renovated lounge at Delmonico SteakhouseThe renovated entrance to Delmonico Steakhouse
