Emily Blunt has apologized for insensitive comments she made about a person's weight during a 2012 appearance on the U.K.'s "Jonathan Ross Show."
Blunt made her controversial comments while recalling stopping at a Chili's restaurant while filming for her movie "Looper," which also starred Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Bruce Willis and Paul Dano. In her statement to People, Blunt said she had always considered herself to be someone "who wouldn't dream of upsetting anyone," adding, "so whatever possessed me to say anything like this in that moment is unrecognizable to me or anything I stand for."
