“I don’t know if there can be [a sequel],” the Oscar winner, who played journalist Andrea “Andy” Sachs, said on Nov. 1. “I just think that movie was in a different era, you know? “Now, everything’s gone so digital, and that movie centered around the concept of producing a physical thing,” she continued of Runway, the fictional magazine run by Streep’s character, Miranda Priestly. “It’s just very different now.”
