Widely regarded as one of the most iconic teenage dramas of all time, Gossip Girl had some fantastic seasons, and some that missed the mark.

Seeing the lengths Juliet would go to after her brother was accused of having a relationship with Serena, and then getting sent to jail, proved both fascinating and engaging, but this bright spot was not reflective of the entirety of Gossip Girl season 4.
There were a number of instances that made the reveal of the online persona's identity being Dan Humphrey, AKA Lonely Boy, nonsensical. Even if the reveal was surprising, and it was satisfying to at least get an answer to Gossip Girl's biggest mystery, there were too many instances throughout the show that made this seem like a last-minute decision.
2 Gossip Girl Season 2 Gossip Girl's sophomore season did not disappoint, and managed to keep up the fast pace and enthralling character dynamics of its predecessor. Despite only being the second season, Gossip Girl marked the end of an era for the main characters. This chapter of Gossip Girl rounded off the high school fun, and while many similar shows collapse after making the transition to college, Gossip Girl was able to remain strong regardless.
