Martinez signed with the Raiders in November, shortly after being released by the Giants the previous month.

He finishes his career with 706 tackles, including a league-leading 144 in 2017, along with 13 sacks, four forced fumbles, and four interceptions.. In 2020, his only full season with the Giants, he made 151 tackles and was the on-field leader of defensive coordinator Patrick Graham’s squad. He played in just three games in 2021 following surgery to repair a torn ACL.A coaching staff overhaul saw Martinez’s usage decline until his release, and he followed Graham to Las Vegas.
