Per the affidavit, a 19-year-old woman told a detective with the sheriff’s office that she, her 18-year-old girlfriend and another man went to the Koe Wetzel’s Riot Room in Fort Worth and stayed until closing time. They met with some other friends when the woman said she noticed Awe.She told the detective that Awe had offered to take several women to an apartment the group was heading to. Awe showed up at the apartment about 4:30 a.m. and asked if people wanted to meet another friend of his.
The partying continued at another person’s place but when they left, they got caught in traffic about 9:30 a.m. Awe then called and texted the 19-year-old and said he could rent a hotel. He told her to go to the parking lot by the Walmart in the 5800 block of Hulen Street, near Ledgestone Drive.There was no hotel there and when the woman arrived, Awe got in the back passenger seat of her car.
