When asked if Facebook was concerned about disrupting U.S. government investigations by taking down Cobwebs’ accounts, Gleicher told, “When we enforce against these violations, we have to enforce consistently based on the systemic violating behaviour we're seeing from these companies. We do that regardless of who the client is.” He said that governments can go through its law enforcement compliance team to get data on users, as often happens in the U.S. and U.K.
