Picasso’s Pizza and Grill closedAndrew’s, an “American-style” pizza and pasta restaurant, will open on Preston Road sometime in fall 2022 and will serve the thin crust “Dallas-style pizza” Picasso’s was known for along with Chicago-style, New York-style, Detroit-style and tavern-style pizzas.
Andrew Albert and his son Justin Albert are opening Andrew's, an American-style pizza and pasta restaurant, in Plano. The restaurant will open fall 2022. “After 30 years with Picasso’s, I started looking at what I wanted to do going forward and landed on the idea of a restaurant serving various styles of pizza,” said Andrew’s co-owner Andrew Albert in a prepared statement. “Pizza is a staple in America, and the more I started to study different varieties of pizza, the more I saw that people had preferences for different styles ... No one was offering more than one or two types of crust or styles of pizza.
The restaurant will have indoor seating for 200 people and patio seating for an additional 50 people, and will host live music.
