Farmers Business Network\u0027s new 198,000 sq ft Saskatoon logistics hub will help them deliver products direct to farmers in timely manner.

We run our own trucks for deliveries. We’re doing a lot of deliveries ourselves. We have partners that will deliver on farm for us but I always believe that our employees and our system is going to just be more successful at that. That’s proven to be a really huge positive experience for farmers and for our drivers.

It’s been a really nice, fun kind of bonus as we put our own drivers in place for them to get familiar with our customers and with our farmers and develop a relationship. We know that’s a big piece for farmers. They like having a local relationship with a familiar face that they trust.Article contentI think the No. 1 reason is that we want them to trust us, and we think they can trust us.

We are also reliable. Understand that it’s new, this idea of getting on-farm delivery and people are maybe skeptical. Is it going to show up? Is it going to show up on time? But that’s very much what we built this entire concept around, being able to do that and do that at a high level.Article content
