Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT New Fast & Furious AI-generated art transforms the franchise into a classic Western, with Vin Diesel trading his car for a trusty steed. After first getting its start back in 2001, the Fast & Furious franchise is now one of the most successful action movie franchises of all time.

New AI-generated art shared by AI Dreams on Instagram serves as a total re-imagining of the Fast & Furious franchise, transporting the action back to the Old West. In addition to a few movie posters, the AI-generated images include re-imagined cowboy versions of the late Paul Walker as Brian O'Conner, Michelle Rodriguez as Letty, Dwayne Johnson as Hobbs, and Sung Kang as Han.

Could Fast & Furious Work As A Western? On the surface, a Fast & Furious Western is, of course, a terrible idea. The entire franchise was built on car racing and, while the action has become much more outlandish as the movies have progressed, cars are still key to its identity. On a very broad level, however, it's not totally unreasonable to suggest that Fast & Furious might actually work if cars were traded for horses and the modern day setting was traded for the Old West.

In addition to its ridiculous car stunts, one of the main appeals of the franchise is the Fast & Furious cast. Original characters like Dom, Letty, Roman , Tej , Brian, Han, and Mia remain key ingredients of every film, as do newer characters like Ramsey , Hobbs, and Shaw . Put these actors in an Old West setting, and their characters could remain mostly unchanged and just as entertaining.
