That’s far different than a year ago, when about 300 people were hospitalized with COVID-19 within the seven UPMC hospitals, with many needing intensive care and breathing ventilators. “It wouldn’t surprise me if there’s a small increase in cases. It would surprise me if there’s a big increase,” he said.
