Purdue converted three Indiana State turnovers into touchdowns as the Boilermakers posted a 56-0 victory Saturday at Ross-Ade Stadium
The Boilermakers rolled over the Sycamores 56-0 behind four touchdown passes from quarterback Aidan O’Connell, who finished 17 of 19 for 211 yards. Up next for Purdue is a trip to Syracuse next week.
The shutout was the Boilermakers’ first at Ross-Ade Stadium since 2011 when they blanked Southeast Missouri State 59-0. It's the second straight year Purdue posted a shutout after beating UConn 49-0.Purdue’s top defensive player – Jalen Graham – could miss up to four games after suffering a tibia impact fracture against Penn State. Graham finished the game against the Nittany Lions with the injury and even attempted to practice earlier this week but couldn’t go.
