A Wyandot County prosecutor says the attack was 'random, sudden, and unprovoked,' according to reports.
Wyandot County Prosecuting Attorney Eric Figlewicz made the comments during a court appearance by the suspect, Bethel Bekele, 27. Bekele is charge with murder in the death of Keris Riebel, 22.
Police say the attack occurred just before 4:30 p.m. Sunday. Officers were called to the Dollar Tree on reports that a man was in the store waving a machete and had attacked a worker. When officers arrived, they reportedly found Reibel dead of her wounds.
