A Delran woman who sustained serious burns from Dunkin’ Donuts coffee is suing the chain, saying a better-designed cup holder could have prevented her injuries.

An employee tried to hand her the three coffees, placed inside a cardboard drink holder, through her car window. But the coffees all spilled directly onto Picklo’s lap, the suit says. “Her legs are all burned up. There’s skin coming off her legs from the degree of the burns,” a Delran police officer can be heard telling Dunkin’ Donuts employees.
