Liban Abdulkadir Sheikh, a Somali man in his 40s, is wanted in a 2002 shooting in Lakewood that killed a man and injured a woman.

SEATTLE — The Seattle branch of the FBI increased a reward to $20,000 for a man who’s been a fugitive for the last 20 years.

Sheikh is accused of forcing his way into a unit at the Meadowbrook Apartments on 146th Street Southwest on Nov. 27, 2002. Prosecutors say he fatally shot a man six times in the back of the head. He’s also accused of shooting the victim’s girlfriend in her back and leg.Sheikh is charged with first-degree murder, first-degree assault, burglary and unlawful flight to avoid prosecution.FBI officials said Sheikh was later seen in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
