‘Fernandomania’ lives again at Dodger Stadium with retirement of Valenzuela’s jersey

Retired pitcher and current Dodgers broadcaster Orel Hershiser and retired Dodger Manny Mota lifted off a blue cloth to reveal Fernando Valenzuela’s jersey No. 34 high above the field down the left field line during a pregame ceremony on Friday night at Dodger Stadium before the team’s game against the Colorado Rockies.
