Hundreds of thousands of players won prizes in last night's Mega Millions lottery—find out if any major prizes were won
The winning numbers in Tuesday night's Mega Millions drawing were 8, 12, 33, 56, and 64, and the Mega Ball was 2. The jackpot was an estimated $65 million with a cash-value option of $48.6 million, but did anyone win?Nobody matched five numbers and the Mega Ball to win the grand prize, so the jackpot on Friday night's draw is an estimated $70 million with a cash value option of $52.4 million.
Nobody matched five numbers either, so nobody won the $1 million prize. However, four people matched four balls and the Mega Ball and won $10,000 each and one of these players used the Megaplier to double their prize to $20,000. More than 200 players won $500 each by matching four balls and 50 of these players doubled their prizes to $1,000 by using the Megaplier. More than 600 players won $200 by three numbers and the Mega Ball, and more than 100 of these players used the Megaplier to double their prize to $400.
Additionally, hundreds of thousands of players won smaller prizes ranging from $4 to $20, by matching various combinations of numbers from just the Mega Ball to three numbers using the Megaplier. Nearly 400,000 players won these smaller prizes and more than 74,000 of these players used the Megaplier to double their prize amount.

To participate, players must purchase a ticket for $2 per play with the option of adding the Megaplier for an additional $1 per play.
