A fire was burning in a duplex in the 400 block of West 14th Street in San Pedro.
A fire damaged a house and two nearby residential buildings in San Pedro Monday and left a person with a minor injury, authorities said.Firefighters sent to the 400 block of West 14th Street at 6:48 a.m. extinguished the flames in 48 minutes, according to Nicholas Prange of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
'A fire in a tree to the rear of a home quickly spread to exterior storage, to the house, and then to two adjacent buildings -- a 2-story duplex, and an apartment,' Prange said in a statement.'One patient was evaluated by paramedics, but found to be in good condition and required no hospital transport,' Prange said.The cause of the fire was under investigation.
