Fire breaks out near paintball park southeast of Ramona [Breaking]
A blaze that broke out near a paintball center southeast of Ramona charred 20 acres and prompted evacuation warnings southeast of Ramona Tuesday afternoon, authorities said.
The fire was reported about 4:10 p.m. on Barona Road near Giant Paintball, Cal Fire said in a tweet. Flames could be seen speeding uphill, and officials said the blaze had the potential to spread to 100 acres.The flames briefly threatened nearby homes and evacuation warnings were issued to residents along Barona Mesa Road and Vista Vicente in the San Diego Country Estates community, sheriff’s officials said in a tweet.
