Fisker had initially planned to build upwards of 36,000 vehicles this year but will fall short of that target
comes just four weeks after Fisker acknowledged that it would likely produce 20,000 to 23,000 vehicles in 2023, significantly fewer than the 32,000 – 36,000 units it had projected back in May. Fisker blamed this reduction on the supplier of a complicated part that needs specific skilled labor to produce.
While the Ocean remains the only Fisker model currently in production, the car manufacturer unveiled three new models in August, consisting of an Alaska pickup truck, the Ronin flagship, and the entry-level Pear SUV. Of these, it is the Fisker Pear that has the potential to be the company’s biggest seller as it will hit the U.S. market with a starting price of just $29,900 before incentives.is similar in size to the Tesla Model Y, albeit 200 m shorter.
