Fog might delay traffic early Friday at San Diego International Airport [Breaking]
Cool marine air will flow ashore before dawn on Friday, possibly producing fog that will be thick enough to delay some early morning flights at San Diego International Airport, according to the National Weather Service.
Forecasters said the fog would likely start to appear sometime after 7 p.m. on Thursday and progressively grow thicker along most of the coastline, shrouding parts of Interstate 5. The fog will burn off in late morning Friday, and the region will experience another unseasonably warm day. But temperatures will cool over the weekend. And the weather service says it now appears that a storm out of the west will blow ashore Sunday night and drop up to one inch of rain at the coast and up to two inches inland by early Tuesday.
