Water can create canyons but it wasn't strong enough to penetrate the door of this Ford Raptor pickup
A Ford F-150 Raptor was the victim of an 'exploding' fire hydrant. Water pressure up to 100 psi pummeled the side of the truck for several seconds. Despite the barrage, the pickup survived largely unscathed. Fire hydrants are silent saviors that one hopes never need usage. At the same time, they're maintained over time to ensure that they're always ready to go.
What starts out as a tame stream turns into something that a geyser would be jealous of. It absolutely batters the side of the blue F-150 Raptor for at least half of a minute. The force is audible and there's clear reason for concern about the side of the aluminum door panel. After the torrent, the owner posted an update showing just how destructive the experience was for the Ford.
