Puka Nacua had a memorable rookie season in the NFL, but the BYU and Orem High School alum created a lasting memory for a diehard Los Angeles Rams fan.
Through the USAA’s Salute to Service, Nacua took part in giving U.S. Air Force veteran Jim Sullivan two tickets to Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas.
“It’s a huge honor for me to honor people who serve our country,” Nacua said. “I have two family members who also a part of the National Guard as well, so when the opportunity presented itself I jumped on it as fast as I could.” “I was incredible,” said Sullivan to 2News on Saturday about being awarded the tickets from USAA. “Just amazing and it’s been even better since we got here.”
With the extra ticket to the Super Bowl, Sullivan is bringing Air Force veteran, Master Sergeant Michael Grabow. Grabow also spent time with Nacua on Saturday at the USAA’s Salute to Service lounge inside of the NFL’s Super Bowl Experience at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center.We ran into a few of the NFL greats ahead of Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas“I haven’t been to the big game either, so he’s is going there before me,” Nacua said.
