Thomas has had a historic season for the Connecticut Sun.
Thomas, who is in her 10th-season in the league, made WNBA history this year by logging three triple-doubles in her past four games. That gives her five regular-season triple-doubles and makes her the league’s all-time leader in that category. She is also the first player in league history to notch back-to-back triple-doubles.
She is averaging 14.6 points per game this season along with a team-high 10.4 rebounds, 8 assists and 2.1 steals per game. She currently leads the WNBA in rebounds and steals per game and is second in assists per game. Thomas also made some Sun franchise history earlier this year when he became the team’s all-time leader in rebounds. She also became the team’s all-time leader in free throws made and moved into third overall in games played for the Suns at 246. She also became just one of our players to surpass 3,000 points for the team.
