A man was arrested nearly one month after officials said he shot at a car at a gas station where he was formerly employed in Utah County.A Top Stop employee reported that he had come out to his car to find that "the front driver-side window was damaged and that there appeared to be two bullet holes in the driver's side of his vehicle."Using surveillance footage, police determined that a total of three shots were fired at the employee's car sometime between 1:23 and 1:28 a.m.
Police said the area behind the employee's parked car was Redwood Road, which "is usually quite busy."They said that in the security video, cars can be seen driving past Top Stop — "presumably within the line of fire" — and that several businesses and homes were also in that direction. Officials observed Ward riding a bike that matched the one seen on surveillance footage and said he was also seen carrying a revolver-style handgun on his right hip.
