“I will f— you up,” the former anchor allegedly told a relative before wrestling with him.
Former KTVU anchor Frank Somerville was charged Wednesday with several misdemeanors after being arrested twice within a nine-hour period earlier this week in the Berkeley Hills.
Prosecutors have moved to revoke Somerville’s probation, which steams from his earlier conviction, court records show.— first on Monday evening after he allegedly got into a fight with a relative, then early Tuesday morning when Somerville re-appeared at the house after having been drinking and driving, according to court documents.
When a man tried grabbing Somerville to move him to the front door, the former anchor allegedly said “I will f— you up,” according to a Berkeley police officer’s court affidavit. A wrestling match ensued, during which the man suffered a contusion to his cheek, police reported in arrest papers. Officers took Somerville into custody and booked him into the Berkeley jail.
