The Carolina Panthers will reportedly part ways with former Ohio State safety Vonn Bell this offseason.

According to a report from NFL Network, the Carolina Panthers have informed Vonn Bell that he will be traded or released. Bell spent one season with the Panthers, picking up a career-low 69 tackles with one interception and two pass breakups in 13 games in 2023. He missed four games with various ailments and injuries.

For his career, Bell has 705 tackles , 26 tackles for loss, 9.5 sacks, 37 PBUs, seven interceptions, 15 forced fumbles and 11 fumble recoveries. At Ohio State, Bell proved central to the Buckeyes' 2014 National Championship run, racking up 91 tackles, two tackles for loss and six interceptions that season, including a key pick against No. 1 Alabama in the first-ever College Football Playoff semifinals. He was a first-team All-American the following year in 2015 before being taken by the Saints with the 61st overall pick in the second round of the 2016 NFL draft.
