Eskridge is headed to Miami.
It didn’t take long for former Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Dee Eskridge to find his next team. Having been waived by Seattle on Tuesday’s roster cutdown day, the 2021 second-round pick has reportedly agreed with the Miami Dolphins to join their practice squad. Eskridge was on the roster bubble heading into this season, working primarily with the third-team offense and quarterback PJ Walker in training camp.
It was ultimately not enough to maintain his spot on the team after three mostly injury-riddled and non-productive seasons. The one positive for Eskridge dating back to college is his speed, so it’s no surprise the Dolphins were interested considering they have Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle, Devon Achane, and Raheem Mostert. That’s a hell of a 4x100m relay team if the NFL ever wanted to do a track and field competition.
