— is officially slated to become an elite enclave and luxury brand hotel, real estate representatives confirmed.that they’ve entered a brand and management agreement with EKN Development Group, a Newport Beach-based company, to usher in the Waldorf Astoria Lake Tahoe: an exclusive 15-acre “village” that’s expected to debut in 2027, according to the Dec. 5 news release.
“As we continue to grow our luxury portfolio, Hilton is always looking for the right opportunities to expand our presence in popular resort destinations,” Kevin Jacobs, Hilton’s chief financial officer and president of global development, said in the release.
The designer compound is expected to boast an array of restaurants and bars as well as a high-end casino with live entertainment, the release continued. Seventy-six rooms are planned for hotel guests, and another 61 branded residences are expected to be available to own.
