Playing at fullback is hard to garner attention, but Case Hatch hopes pro day will help him get to the next level.
Fullbacks remain an underutilized position, but former Arizona State fullback Case Hatch hopes that his performance at Monday’s pro day in Tempe stood out.
“The biggest thing from all my film at ASU, I’ve had a bunch of blocking stuff,” Hatch said. “That’s my main job. And I have special teams. So hopefully I can play a good role on a team doing that, being a fullback, blocking, and getting as many special teams reps as possible.”Originally a walk-on linebacker, Hatch is known more for his hard-nosed style of play. In the 2021 season, he broke two facemasks.
“You really don’t understand it until you go through it. Nerves are high, you’re anxious, but at the end of the day, as long as you’re putting work in, you can get that result,” Hatch said.
