The program was created by the Fort Worth Film Commission and Tarrant County College in partnership with 101 Studios, which produces Sheridan’s projects.

The commission produced 20 videos featuring industry experts to accompany the curriculum. The videos include professionals in specialties such as gaffer, grip, locations, hair and makeup, accounting, camera, production assistant and props.

Tarrant County College will be the educational backbone of the Fort Worth Film Collaborative. Leveraging its facilities and faculty, the college will provide a platform for students to understand the film industry and develop practical skills essential for success in the film industry. , president and CEO of 101 Studios, said the program makes sense if studios want to cultivate local talent.“We don’t need to bring people in from out of state,” Glasser said at last week’s reception. “That doesn’t benefit all of us at the end of the day if we’re doing that.
