Here's an early look at your July Fourth forecast:
Isolated to scattered storms will be possible from the Central and Southern Plains into the Midwest, parts of the South and Northeast. Storms could be more widespread in the Midwest, especially in areas shaded darker green in the map above.The Deep South will start out the weekend much hotter than average. Above-average temperatures will also grip the Southwest, Great Basin and California's Central Valley.
