FREMONT — A 3-year-old Fremont girl was reported missing Friday after her father was found dead in a nearby city, police said.
Authorities are asking for the public’s help in finding Ellie Lorenzo, 3, of Fremont. The girl was last seen at the Casa Arroyo Apartments at 405 Rancho Arroyo Parkway around 6 p.m. Thursday, July 11, 2024. Ellie Lorenzo was last seen around 6 p.m. Thursday at the Casa Arroyo Apartments, located at 405 Rancho Arroyo Parkway, according to the Fremont Police Department.According to the mother, the father was supposed to return the girl Friday night, per a custody agreement, but she learned he had been found dead in a nearby city, according to police.
“Our hearts go out to the family, and we assure you that we are doing everything we can to locate the child,” police said in a news release. “We are asking for the community’s assistance to help locate and ensure the safe return of the missing child.
