Williams and Mbakwe were both five-star recruits in the 2024 recruiting class. Just this past weekend against Western Kentucky, Williams caught two passes for 139 yards and for two touchdowns. Meanwhile, Mbakwe tallied four tackles and broke up one pass. Both are in-state talent with Williams having played for Saraland and Mbakwe competing for Clay-Chalkville.
Alabama football will be producing the podcast, so it will be entirely in house. Walt Brock and Preston Adelman will lead the efforts; They’re director and associate director of creative for football. It’s an example of a new age not only for the Crimson Tide with freshmen talking but players also having a chance to help build their brands with university resources and infrastructure. Alabama coach Kalen DeBoer hired Brock and Adelman to spearhead those efforts as football players look to capitalize on true name, image and likeness opportunities. If you purchase a product or register for an account through a link on our site, we may receive compensation.
