On its first day of operation at Kuykendall Stadium last week, the testing site received “overwhelming interest,” according to the district, and prompted Nomi Health to close the location by the third day of operation. “In order to better serve FISD students and staff, the current COVID-19 testing site will close effective today, Jan. 13,” the district wrote on Twitter.
At the new testing site at Bacchus Park, staff members should enter from Main Street, while students are required to enter from Independence Parkway. Testing is available daily from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. for staff members and from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. for students. Limited resources, weather conditions or worker shortages could prompt closure of the site without notice.
