The first funerals are being held for students who were killed in this week’s mass shooting at Michigan State University
There is standing room only during family hour as family members friends and supporters console each other during the funeral mass for Brian Fraser at St Paul on the Lake Catholic Church, in Grosse Pointe Farms, Mich., Saturday, Feb. 18, 2023. Fraser was identified as one of three students slain during a mass shooting on Michigan State University's campus, Monday evening. GROSSE POINTE FARMS, Mich.
They were among eight students who were shot in the attack at two buildings on the Michigan State campus in East Lansing, including five who were wounded but survived. A memorial service was scheduled for later Saturday for the third student killed, Arielle Anderson, whose funeral is set for next week.
