She splits her time between the home she shares with her husband, Steve, and their four children in Atherton, California, and their farm in Sicily, the inspiration behind Furtuna Skin—a wild-foraged collection of complexion essentials, expertly crafted in Italy.

We started dealing with the crisis of this global pandemic long before most American companies, and one thing that we have learned is that the creativity of the human spirit is truly inspiring. While some of our new launches have been pushed back , our scientists and academics are using this time to work on new ingredient development and are doing a lot of original research at their home labs so we can continue to innovate in the natural beauty space.
