Fashion's finest came out to celebrate the second drop of Ganni and Ahluwalia
This isn’t a sustainable fashion story. Yes, today is Earth Day, but Ganni’s husband and wife duo Nicolaj and Ditte Reffstrup, and Priya Ahluwalia celebrate our blue planet 365 days a year. The second iteration of their collaboration uses all upcycled materials in denim styles—from jackets to dresses to a beret! Ditte and Ahluwalia met just before the lockdown and began exploring their first collaboration right away. The partnership challenged each of the brands in creative ways.
The trio, who were fresh in from across the pond, partied in style at Dimes Square hotspot Cervo’s. Fashion insiders and old friends decked in bright colors, atypical suits, and denim bumped shoulder to shoulder, sharing oysters and escabeche. Downtown New York style is another thing Priya and Ditte can agree on—it exudes a coolness that no other city can compare.
