General contractor moves HQ to Richardson’s CityLine

One of North Texas’ busiest construction companies has finished a project of its own.

McCarthy Building Cos. has moved into a new regional headquarters at 3400 N. Central Expressway in Richardson. The general contractor relocated from a Dallas office to the building in the CityLine development. The expanded offices will also house the headquarters of McCarthy’s parent company, Genuine McCarthy Enterprises, and several subsidiaries. The space is designed to allow the company to add about 150 workers in the coming years.

“This move will allow McCarthy to not only grow our company but also expand our offerings for clients across the region,” Bryan Kuster, southern region president for McCarthy, said in a statement. “McCarthy is uniquely positioned to leverage our capabilities to fulfill the need for major infrastructure projects, and we will reflect that in our hiring efforts.”

McCarthy has done business in North Texas for 40 years and has projects across the state. The company also has offices in Austin, Houston, St. Louis and Atlanta.
