. In a brief trailer, the singer’s sold-out Staples Center concert is highlighted as well as his rise to fame.
As the 11th country artist to sell out the Staples Center in Los Angeles, clips are shown of Brown getting ready for the show as his manager, Martha Earls, marvels that the concert sold out in 90 minutes. While footage is shown ahead of Brown’s Jan. 9, 2020, concert, he reflects on his rise to stardom.
“I would just sing covers and put them on Facebook, never thinking a record label would hit me up or anything,” he says in a clip. “I was just hoping to get followers. I went to sleep one night and woke up and it worked magically, I don’t know how.” Earls, meanwhile, discusses his first sold-out show and witnessing his massive social media following in the early days. “He was growing by 20,000 social media followers a day,” she recalls.will include conversations with Brown's manager Earls; his wife, Katelyn; agent, Braeden Rountree; day-to-day manager, Nikki Boon; tour manager, Shawn Richesin; friend, David Bliek; and his longtime friend and barber, CT Kutz.
In addition to the mini-documentary, out Feb. 20, an Amazon Original Live EP will be available on Amazon Music featuring recordings from Brown’s Staples Center performance.
