713Walks takes Houstonians on guided walks in the city's cultural districts
, Laura Conely, who proposed the experience to the city. The walks are free to the public and include a stop at a local coffee shop, a sidewalk performance from a local artist or musician,and an aluminum bottle from HOW Water. A translator will also join the walk to translate information to Spanish.
Registration is required and the first tour was all booked up with more than 50 participants within 15 hours of registration going up Wednesday.
