Daniel Jones is dealing with a neck injury.
“The goal this week was to play,” Jones told NJ Advance Media after Sunday night’s game. “Obviously, came up short on that. But it’s always the goal to come back and play, and I’m going to try to get back as soon as possible.”in last week’s loss at Miami — on his 16th sack in a two-game stretch.
After Sunday’s game, Jones declined to discuss the details of his injury, when asked about what Stark reported. “For sure,” he said. “I think every day I’ve gotten a lot better. I feel a lot better a week from the injury for sure. I think I’m looking forward to getting back out there — and doing everything I can to get back out there.”
The Giants have played six games this season — and they’ve failed to score an offensive touchdown in four of them .
