Darnay Holmes has set the record straight on last season’s viral sideline video.
The Giants cornerback, entering his fourth year, told the story of when he was seen with his pants down while getting treatment from a trainer on the sideline during an Oct. 9 comeback win over the Packers in London in an appearance on the ““I knew I had a thigh bruise,” Holmes said. “Once it gets stiff, it’s over with. Your day’s over with.
So I’m like ‘I can’t let it get stiff, man, it’s two-minute.’ I’m like, ‘Hey, J [the trainer], I need you to rub on my thigh. But I know this can go south — let’s go to the tent.’ He’s like ‘Nah, y’all ’bout to hit the field, man.The team held on to beat Green Bay, 27-22, while Holmes was on the mend, but Giants brass still had questions for him after the game.
