Italian film star Gina Lollobrigida died Monday in Rome. She was 95.

Lollobrigida was often referred to as"the most beautiful woman in the world" during that era and was known as a pop culture icon, including a reference on The Jetsons in 1962.Films weren't the only art she enjoyed. She was also a sculptor, painter, and photographer who took pictures around the world, including in the former Soviet Union.
Lollobrigida was also a guest of Cuban leader Fidel Castro in 1974 for 12 days as she worked on a documentary on him.In 2018, Lollobrigida received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
