GirlsDay's Hyeri Sees Dead People In New Drama 'MayIHelpYou?'
“May I Help You?” is a new MBC drama starring Hyeri as Baek Dong Joo, a funeral director who grants the wishes of the dead, and U-KISS’sas Butler Kim, who runs an errand service that starts at a cost of 100 won per job. Together, the two team up to make the wishes of both the dead and the living come true.
Hyeri’s character Baek Dong Joo has the supernatural ability to communicate with the dead when she touches them, and it is unclear whether this power is a blessing or a curse. However, unless she fulfills the deceased’s last wish, she is forced to spend the whole day with no luck. In newly released stills from the drama’s premiere, Baek Dong Joo falls to the floor in shock when her first ghostly “client” appears before her. The poor funeral director cowers in fear as a young boy approaches her for a conversation, raising the question of how she’ll react to this extraordinary and terrifying situation—and what her first mission will be.
The producers of “May I Help You?” teased, “Please look forward not only to the story of Baek Dong Joo, who has wound up with an unimaginable ability, but also to finding out what the wish of the first deceased individual she meets will be.” They went on to add, “Her first meeting with Butler Kim, with whom she becomes entangled as part of an inescapable fate, will also unfold in an entertaining way.”In the meantime, watch Hyeri in her previous drama “
