Law enforcement serving a warrant at another home on the block were alerted to the attack when a woman, later identified in court documents asOnce more officers arrived, they found 29-year-old, according to court documents. It appeared both had been shot. An officer spotted the man later identified as Greene running from the home around 7 a.m. and alerted area law enforcement that a Dodge Charger was seen leaving the area around that time.
Greene was arrested at the crash scene. In an interview about the crash, Greene admitted that he stole the vehicle earlier in the day and that he was alone.
