In PvE, Mountaintop did not take up a heavy slot, so you were free to use it in your primary slot, Recluse in your energy and an exotic heavy . Its missile grenades could hammer down both majors and bosses alike, and the brief window when wells and barricades auto refilled your ammo were absolutely wild. It was a must have for Nightfalls, raids, pretty much any high level PvE content.
