The stars of film and television will come together tonight to celebrate the official kickoff to the 2023 awards season at the Golden Globes.
Held at the Beverly Hilton, the HFPA’s gala event was attended by directors Rian Johnson, Tim Burton and actresses Britt Lower, Megan Stalter and Sheryl Lee Ralph who all walked a tented red carpet due to torrential rains in Los Angeles.Jerrod Carmichael, and Golden Globe winner and six-time nominee Eddie Murphy will receive the 2023 Cecil B. DeMille Award. Five-time Golden Globe winner and 16-time nominee Ryan Murphy will receive the Carol Burnett Award.
Inside the ballroom, the stars will sit down to a three-course meal starting with a grapefruit salad then Icelandic salmon or butternut squash for the entrée and finishing off with a limoncello dome for dessert. This year’s menu crafted by Matthew Morgan, Executive Chef at the Beverly Hilton, features locally sourced ingredients from Southern California along with fresh, responsibly farm-raised Icelandic salmon.
