Salisbury was the chief investment officer of Goldman's all-important asset & wealth management unit. He will not be replaced,Also leaving the bank is Takashi Murata, co-head of Asia Pacific private investing and global co-head of real estate within Goldman Sachs' asset management unit.

In total, 88 partners have left the bank since Solomon became CEO in 2018, according to Insider's tally. Goldman and Solomon have pushed back against claims that turnover is high or harming the bank, including at this year's
