Cops are looking for a perp who used a vehicle to mow down a man attempting to break up a fight on the Upper East Side in Manhattan last week.

Police said that the trouble began at 5:20 p.m. on April 2 in front 1763 2nd Ave., a needlepoint and knitting store, where a 49-year-old man witnessed two women involved in a violent, physical dispute. He then stepped in to try to stop the fighting, but cops said became a victim himself. After he intervened, law enforcement sources said, one of the fighting women got into a white Kia and drove straight into the the man before fleeing southbound on 2nd Avenue.responded to the incident. The victim sustained injuries to both legs, including a possible broken leg, police said. EMS brought him to NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital in stable condition.
It is unclear what the two women were fighting about, but right now the NYPD is searching for the perp who drove into the victim.Police described the suspect as having a medium complexion, long braids, approximately in her 20’s, and a slim build. She was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, black pants, a black shirt and black sneakers.
